Read the small print in the room name

Archer King is not Archer King Empire View
The Archer Hotel sells a king room twice. Only the one with Empire View in the name is the view room; the plain Archer King has no view named on the hotel's rooms page.
Junior Suite is not Club Junior Empire State View Suite
At The Langham the plain Junior Suite is described with views of Fifth Avenue and Midtown Manhattan. The Club Junior suite is the one that names the building.
Liberty Suite is not Madison Suite
At The Ritz-Carlton NoMad, Marriott's view line for the Madison Suite names the Empire State Building. The Liberty Suite's view line says only Downtown Manhattan.

No view room? Try a rooftop

Oyster names the rooftop bar at Hotel Metro for close views of the Empire State Building, and says it is only open seasonally. It is a shared space, not a room.

Questions

Which New York hotels sell rooms with an Empire State Building view?

Of the hotels we checked in October 2026: The Langham sells suites with Empire State View in the name, the Archer Hotel sells two Empire View rooms, and The Ritz-Carlton NoMad lists the building in the view line of its Madison Suite.

Does every room at these hotels see the Empire State Building?

No. At the Archer only the two Empire View categories are named for it, and at The Langham the Superior, Deluxe and plain Junior Suite categories do not name it. Book the exact category listed above.

Is a Fifth Avenue or Midtown view the same as an Empire State Building view?

No. The Langham describes its plain Junior Suite with views of Fifth Avenue and Midtown Manhattan, and sells the Empire State View suites as separate categories.
