Read the small print in the room name

Deluxe Room, Pool View is not Deluxe Room (Pyramid View)
At the Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo the Deluxe Room is sold with a city view, a pool view, a museum view or the pyramids. Only the last has them in the name.
Garden View (Balcony) is not Pyramid view with Exec Lounge Access
Expedia tags every category at the Marriott Mena House a garden view, whatever the name says. The name is what separates a Garden View (Balcony) Deluxe Room from one sold with a pyramid view.
Garden View is not Pyramids view
At the Nine Pyramids View Hotel the same room types are sold with a garden view or with a balcony and the pyramids. Book the one with the pyramids in the name.

No view room? Try the grounds or a rooftop

Corinthian Travel says the pyramids are visible from many points around the Marriott Mena House grounds, so you don't need a pyramid view room to see them. Joujou Travels describes the view from the rooftop restaurant at the Nine Pyramids View Hotel.

Questions

Which hotels near the Giza pyramids sell rooms with a pyramid view?

Of the hotels we checked in October 2026: Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo, Marriott Mena House, Best View Pyramids Hotel and Nine Pyramids View Hotel sell categories with the pyramids in the name. Le Méridien Pyramids Hotel & Spa sells none, but a guide says its Deluxe Suites have the best views.

Does every room at the Marriott Mena House face the pyramids?

No. Expedia lists its categories with garden view, Pyramid view with Exec Lounge Access, or just “View” in the name. Corinthian Travel says the Pavilion Garden rooms have garden, partial pyramid or pyramid views.

Does a hotel with “Pyramids View” in its name put every room facing the pyramids?

No. The Nine Pyramids View Hotel sells rooms with a garden view too, and Scene Traveller says only some rooms have pyramid-facing balconies. Book a category with the pyramids in the name.

Why does Expedia say “Garden view” or “Desert view” for a pyramid view room?

The view tag on a booking site is a generic label. At the Marriott Mena House every category carries the garden view tag, and at the Nine Pyramids View Hotel the pyramids categories are tagged city or desert view. The room name is the promise.
