At Tajview, the Executive Room and the Junior Suite are each sold two ways. Book the one with “Taj Mahal View” in the name, not the one with “Pool View”.

At the Radisson Hotel Agra, the same Executive Room is sold with a city view or with a Taj view. Only the second one is for the monument.

Hotels.com tags the Taj Club Room Taj Mahal View as a city view. The tag is generic and the room name is the promise, so book by the name.

No view room? Try a rooftop

Trip101 lists the Crystal Sarovar Premiere and the DoubleTree by Hilton Agra as places with Taj Mahal views from a rooftop terrace, pool or dining area. It does not tie the views to any room.

Of the hotels we checked in October 2026: The Oberoi Amarvilās, Radisson Hotel Agra, Tajview Agra, Taj Hotel & Convention Centre and Hotel Clarks Shiraz. Each sells specific room categories with the view in the name or description.

Does every room at The Oberoi Amarvilās face the Taj Mahal?

The hotel says so for every category it lists: Premier Room, Premier Room with Balcony, Deluxe Suite, Deluxe Suite with Balcony, Luxury Suite and Kohinoor Suite. Culture Trip and Fodor's say the same.

Why does Hotels.com say “City view” for a Taj Mahal View room?

The view tag on a booking site is a generic label and doesn't always match the room name. At the Taj Hotel & Convention Centre, the Taj Club Room Taj Mahal View is tagged as a city view. The room name is the promise.

How far are these hotels from the Taj Mahal?

Audley Travel puts Tajview about 3 km away, Culture Trip puts the Radisson under 2 km away, and Santorini Dave puts Clarks Shiraz more than 2 km away. A hotel can be some way off and still have rooms that face the monument.
