Questions

Which Taipei hotels sell rooms with a Taipei 101 view?

Of the hotels we checked in October 2026: Shangri-La Far Eastern and amba Taipei Songshan sell categories with 101 in the name. W Taipei, Le Méridien Taipei and Illume Taipei describe the tower in a suite.

Do all rooms at these hotels see Taipei 101?

No. Taiwan Obsessed says only certain rooms at W Taipei have the view. Amba says most of its rooms see the tower or the Keelung River, so book the category with 101 in the name.

Is a city view the same as a Taipei 101 view?

Not by name. Shangri-La sells its Horizon Deluxe Rooms with views of the tower or the city. If you want the tower, book a category that names it.
